Christmas Posting Dates
The time is nearly upon us – Christmas is on its way once more! Christmas is a time for family, and the Letterbox elves will be taking some time off in December to be with theirs.
The Letterbox Lab office will be shut down at 5pm on Friday 20th December and will reopen on Friday 3rd January at 9am.
We will be shipping orders every day between the 16th and the 20th December.
The Royal Mail tell us that orders shipped on 18th December (or 20th December if upgraded to first class postage) will arrive in time for Christmas. Our cut off on those days is mid day. Get your order in to us before mid day and we’ll get it shipped that day.
Please note that we make no guarantees for the Royal Mail’s speed of delivery and suggest you order immediately to avoid disappointment.
Will my box arrive in time for Christmas?
We ship our boxes via Royal Mail 2nd class, which usually takes 1-3 working days from our door to yours. Christmas posting volumes are much heavier than usual, however, so the Royal Mail recommends shipping 2nd class post by Wednesday 18th December in order for it to arrive in time for the big day.
Because we offer discounted postage, we charge 50p for an upgrade to 1st class postage. Orders placed by midday on Friday 20th December and upgraded to first class post will – according to the Royal Mail – arrive in time for Christmas.

My subscription is due to renew in that time, what's going to happen?
In this case there will be a slight delay between your subscription renewing and your next box being sent out. All renewals that go through between midday on the 20th Dec and midday on 3rd January will be shipped on the 3rd of January.
If you can’t wait that long you can arrange for your December renewal to go through a little early. Email info@letterboxlab.com to arrange this.
I pay for three boxes at a time and the 2nd/3rd is due in that time, what's going to happen?
If you pay for three boxes at a time and one of the boxes is due to be shipped between the 20th and 29th of December, we’ll ship it on the 20th.
If it’s due to be shipped between the 30th of December and the 3rd of January, we’ll ship it on the 3rd of January.
If you would like an alternative arrangement, please email info@letterboxlab.com stating whether you would like your December shipment to take place on 20th of December or 3rd of January.
What if I order while you're shut down?
Your order will be shipped when we get back on the 3rd of January. Thank you very much for your order and your patience.
